WAX professional events are intended to provide students the opportunity to learn about the culture and business practices of Asia. Last year, the professional committee organized a speaker series including the CTO of Lenovo, a McKinsey Beijing Managing Director,and a partner in Galaxy Securities Mutual Fund), the MBA Mentoring Program, UBS Asia mock interviews, and various career development panels for WAX members. This year, the committee will add a professor debate series and company presentations from the Asia branches of UBS, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, and others.
