Interested in joining our growing membership? Members join committees within WAX, work together to coordinate events within the organization, and gain access to member only workshops and events.

Wharton Asia Exchange accepts members on an application process. We welcome applicants from all undergraduate schools to apply! Find out more at one of our two information sessions:

We’ll also be flyering on Locust Walk and have a booth at the NSO Student Activities fair (Monday, September 6th from 10am-12:30pm). Feel free to ask us any questions!

WHO: Wharton Asia Exchange, BCBG, Rent the Runway, post.fashionism, Kembrel
WHEN: APRIL 8, 7PM

Four powerhouse fashion firms – BCBG, Rent the Runway, post.fashionism, and Kembrel- representing a wide spectrum of the fashion industry from design to retail to media. One Ivy League campus – the University of Pennsylvania.

This April 8th, 2010, the first ever designer fashion show will take place on Penn’s campus to expose the next generation of affluential, fashion-conscious consumers and business leaders to the industry’s leading fashion labels.

Hosted by Wharton Asia Exchange along with Tony Wang of post.fashionism, a nationally acclaimed fashion blog, the second annual WALK OFF is a fashion show and modeling contest featuring current season pieces from designers such as Christian Siriano, Giorgio Armani, Herve Leger, and Marchesa.

The audience votes for the best model and the winner receives prizes such as a photoshoot that will be published on several sites such as post.fashionsim and the BCBG website as well as clothing. The actual lineup of designers is being kept a secret, so you’ll have to come to the show to find out. The show takes place April 8th starting at 7PM in the Terrace Room Claudia Cohen Hall. The event is invitation only but you may bring guests. In addition, every attendee will receive a free goody bag!

3rd Annual WAX-MBA Mentorship Program

Want to get career advice from students who’ve already been in your shoes? Apply for the 3rd Annual WAX MBA-Undergraduate Mentoring program! You will be meeting with your mentor several times over the next few months, for everything from coffee at Starbucks to larger mixer events with other undergrads and MBAs. While we do have events planned for this semester, much of this program’s success depends on YOU and your drive to get the most out of it. The MBAs will be a great resources for learning more about recruiting, resumes, interviews, and everything in between, so be sure to apply!
