<p>Haier America, founded in 1999, is the Sales and Marketing arm of the Americas for the multinational Haier Group, one of the world&#8217;s leading appliance makers. Richard Block is Vice President of Marketing for Haier America leading all marketing initiatives as well as company and product promotion through a variety of marketing platforms. He also directs the company’s relationship with the National Basketball Association supporting Haier as the Official HDTV of the NBA. Bringing almost 30 years of experience as a marketing veteran, Mr. Block joined Haier America in June of 2006. Before taking his current position with Haier, Mr. Block was the regional Vice President for Westwood One, one of the largest producers and distributor of audio content in the United States. He spent the bulk of his career building awareness for the consumer electronics retailer Nobody Beats the Wiz through a multitude of initiatives.</p></blockquote>

<p><span style="font-weight: normal;"><strong>Mitsubishi&#8217;s Managing Director of Human Resources in America, Colette Gardner, will be coming to speak about career management and Mitsubishi&#8217;s role in the recent economic crisis.</strong></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">Colette Gardner leads Human Resources for Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA), Inc. the American investment banking and brokerage unit of Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Co., Ltd. As a member of the firm’s senior management, she participates on the management committee and works closely with the global management division in Tokyo on all related initiatives. Colette&#8217;s previous experience on Wall Street include a number of varied HR assignments as the Global Director of Human Resources, Treasury &amp; Capital Markets for Misys International Banking System and the Managing Director of Human Resources &#8212; Wholesale Client Services &#8211; Americas at ABN-AMRO where she oversaw the integration of ING Barings into the ABN North American footprint.</span></strong></p></blockquote>
